This year the Idaho Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is celebrating 70 years of our Idaho affiliate. In leading up to our BIG celebration at our Annual Meeting in April, we will be highlighting our members and what they do as the ‘Nutrition Experts’ for our great state of Idaho. Today we are recognizing:
Carol Julius
New Clinic Services Division Administrator for Southwest District Health (SWDH)
As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, what do you do?
As a RDN I will assume a new role as the Clinic Services Division Administrator for Southwest District Health (SWDH). In this position I will coordinate the delivery of public health clinical services to all six counties served by SWDH. Services will include, integrated clinical services (primary care, immunizations, reproductive health, nutrition and diabetes education, and behavioral health) and maternal and child health care (WIC, Oral Health, Nurse Family Partnership, and Breastfeeding Consultation). For delivery of services we use the Patient Centered Primary Care Home (PCPCH) model.
What are the benefits you have seen from your services in the Idaho community?
How can someone reach you to access your services?
